What does Jasper do?

Jasper is an AI content platform for marketing teams: brand voice, company knowledge and 100+ marketing agents in one workspace. Pro costs $69 per seat a month, or $59 billed yearly ($708 a year), for one user. It suits marketers who need on-brand copy at volume; skip it if you write solo on a budget or need a free plan.

  • Canvas. The main workspace where marketers draft, edit and organize campaign content with Jasper's brand context applied.
  • Marketing agents. Jasper says it offers 100+ agents for tasks such as SEO and GEO content, campaigns, email, social, personalization and research; Pro covers core workflows, while GEO, translation and deep-research agents are on Business.
  • Jasper IQ and Brand Voice. A context layer that stores brand voice, audiences, product knowledge and source files so outputs follow your tone and messaging. Pro allows 2 brand voices, 5 knowledge assets and 3 audiences.
  • Content Pipelines. Structured, repeatable workflows that move a piece of content from idea to launch.
  • Jasper Grid. A no-code tool for designing and running content automations at scale, included on Business.
  • AI Studio custom agents. A no-code builder for creating custom AI agents and deploying them across the workspace, on Business.
  • GEO and AI optimization. The GEO Hub tracks how a brand appears in AI answer engines; each report run uses credits.
  • APIs and MCP server. Developer APIs (including image APIs for background removal, upscaling and cleanup) and an MCP server that carries Jasper's brand context into other AI tools. API access is a Business feature.

Jasper FAQ

How much does Jasper cost in 2026?

As of Oct 28, 2026, Jasper Pro is $69 per seat a month billed monthly ($828 a year) or $59 per seat a month billed yearly ($708 a year, paid upfront). Business is custom-priced and starts with a 12-month commitment. Prices are in USD.

Does Jasper have a free plan or free trial?

There is no free plan. Jasper offers a 7-day free trial; a credit card is required, you are not charged until the trial ends, and the trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel in the app before it ends.

What's the difference between Jasper Pro and Business?

Pro is one seat with 2 brand voices, 5 knowledge assets, 3 audiences and agents for core marketing workflows. Business adds more seats, unlimited brand voices and knowledge, GEO, translation and deep-research agents, Grid, a custom agent builder, API access, SSO/SCIM and a dedicated success manager. To add users you need Business.

How do Jasper credits work?

Credits pay for usage-based features such as agents and the GEO Hub, and each action (for example, one GEO Hub report run) uses credits. Standard content creation in Chat and Canvas uses none. Jasper lists the rates on a separate credits rate card, and the pricing page describes credits alongside Business seats.

Can I cancel Jasper or get a refund?

You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the billing cycle; monthly Pro can also be paused for 30 days. Refunds are not automatic: Jasper's help center says to cancel and email [email protected] within 7 days of the charge, and only the current charge is eligible.

Does Jasper train AI models on my content?

Jasper says it does not train AI models on customer data and that you keep ownership of your content. It reports SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA compliance, US data hosting and encryption in transit and at rest.

Jasper vs Writesonic vs Grammarly: which costs less?

On their Oct 28, 2026 pricing pages, Jasper Pro is $59 per seat a month billed yearly ($708 a year), while Writesonic Starter is $79 a month billed yearly ($948 a year) and offers a trial without a card. Grammarly Pro is cheaper ($12 a month billed yearly as of our Oct 10 check) but is an editing assistant, not a marketing-content platform.

Is Jasper worth it?

It can be for marketing teams that publish a lot and need every piece to match a brand voice; the Pro plan covers one marketer. Solo writers on a budget, or teams that want several seats without a sales contract, may find it expensive. We haven't tested Jasper hands-on, so use the 7-day trial before paying.
