What does Higgsfield do?
Higgsfield is an AI video and image studio. Instead of offering one model, it puts many in one place: its own (such as Genjutsu) next to third-party models such as Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana, and the line-up changes often. You pay for a monthly credit allowance and spend credits per image or clip.
- Many models in one account. Generate with Higgsfield's own models and third-party ones such as Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana, each priced in credits. The model line-up changes often.
- Cinema Studio. A workspace Higgsfield describes as a way to create cinematic scenes, now at version 4.0.
- Ads Studio. Makes product ads; its Ad Multiplier recreates an ad with your own products and characters.
- AI Influencer. A tool for building an AI influencer persona; paid plans include a number of free AI Influencer generations.
- Katana editing. Turns your existing clips into edits with one text command.
- Supercomputer agent, MCP and API. Supercomputer is an AI agent that shows the credit cost of a job before it renders and also charges credits for text requests. There is also an MCP server, a ChatGPT plugin and a developer API. Unlimited-model perks on plans don't apply to these.
- Unlimited models. Some paid plans include time-limited unlimited use of selected models. Speed can be slowed at busy times and the perk is for personal, human use only.
Who is Higgsfield for?
Higgsfield is a good fit if you're a video creator or a business owner, and you need help making videos and images.
How much does Higgsfield cost?
Not confirmed for the US. Higgsfield's pricing page is built in the browser and has shown different plan line-ups and prices on different visits (Basic/Pro/Max in some layouts, Starter/Plus/Ultra in others), and reviews from June to October 2026 report different numbers. We'd rather not print a price we couldn't confirm, so check higgsfield.ai/pricing for the price in your country. Paid plans are billed in credits, subscription credits don't roll over, and prices exclude VAT.
Higgsfield pros and cons
What stands out
- Many leading video and image models behind one subscription
- Starter costs the same billed monthly or yearly, so there's no lock-in to get the low price
- Plans list credit costs per model, so you can estimate how many clips you get
- Ad, avatar and cinematic tools on top of plain text-to-video
Watch out for
- Unused subscription credits expire each cycle
- Starter only gets selected models
- 'Unlimited' generations are time-limited, may be slowed at peak times and don't work through MCP, CLI or the API
- No free plan on the pricing page, and frequent promotions make the real price harder to pin down
